Pumpkin Patch

Bruno and I recently went to one of our local pumpkin patches. With both of us having such busy schedules, it is hard to find time to go out and do things. We were able to go for a few hours in the evening after Bruno got done with work. It felt so good to get dressed up and go out. We drove out to Studt's Pumpkin Patch which is just a few miles out of town. Since Bruno works at the hospital, they let us in for free, with his badge. We got there just before the sun started setting. There were so many fun things to do there. As you walk in the first thing you see is a huge pyramid of hay bales with a slide to the bottom. They also have these giant orange bubbles you can jump on.

We spent some time at the petting zoo, and looked at all the animals they had.

After we saw the animals, we went out to the field and chose a few pumpkins to take home. There were thousands of pumpkins, all different sizes and colors.

After we picked our pumpkins, we put them in a cart and headed over to the corn maze. By the time we got into the maze, the sun had already set, so it was pretty dark. It was kind of fun to run around and try to get out in the dark. We couldn't successfully make it out of the maze, and had to cut through some of the corn, but we eventually found our way back to the entrance. At dark, they lit a fire pit. We finished our evening at Studt's, sitting by the fire. It was a perfect date night.

The pumpkin patch is perfect for all ages. It would be a great place to visit with kids, and adults. They have so many fun activities, and many more than what we were able to do, including hay rides, and a haunted corn maze. I definitely plan on going back again, sometime soon.
